I am in Auckland and they are in Hamilton so it was all done by phone and email, with photos sent of the windows. I love the window treatments we got from this company. They are beautiful, well made and reasonably priced. This company through Kartika in the office has given phenomenal service, especially over the covid lock down period which was challenging for everyone. Kartika was friendly and helpful on every communication. I got her to do several quotes before settling on orders. The blinds work very smoothly.This company is so much better than some of the shocking other curtain companies in the surrounding area who quoted for me, who were inefficient, snobby and didn’t really care and gave me the impression they were in a hurry. Roman Blinds direct will also work with fabric supplied by you, which is great.I wouldn’t hesitate to use this company again for any decorating projects. A wonderful service being able to have blinds made with your own fabric or from ready made curtains for a window that would better suit a blind.

The blinds are beautifully made, the construction using metal head rail and a chain mechanism is amazing make them stronger, and easier to use.

No more cords to wind up or the blind pulling up unevenly. All part of the extra touches of being professional made.

So happy with them, I would certainly recommend this service to anyone looking for window dressings. Installing yourself is very easy!

From the beginning of the process to the end, Bernie made our experience simple and stress free. I really appreciated that I could browse through their well designed and thought out website and pick out my favourite fabrics, and then with a click of a few buttons I had samples on their way to my front door. Having the fabric in front of me and being able to compare one to the other made the decision process so much easier.

Once the curtains and the blinds arrived we set to work installing them. The instructions available on the website were easy to understand, although the process was so simple we barely needed to refer to them at all.

I am so pleased with the end result. They have completely changed the look and feel of the bedrooms and the roman blinds especially mean that the two kids bedrooms are now getting so much more sunlight than they were before with the bulky ready made curtains blocking half of the window!
